MARYLAND JOBLESS RATE FALLS TO 4.6 PER CENT

Maryland’s jobless rate is at its lowest since the start of the pandemic.  According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the state’s unemployment rate fell to four-point-six percent in March.  That’s low for the state, but still one of the highest in the country.  The national average is three-point-six percent .  Maryland added 39-hundred jobs last month.
