NEW REPORT SHOWS DROP IN PENNSYLVANIA UNEMPLOYMENT RATE

A new labor report from March shows Pennsylvania has lowered its unemployment rate over the past month.  State officials say new data shows Pennsylvania had a four-point-nine percent unemployment rate in March, down from five-point-one percent in February.  It’s estimated that since April of 2020, the commonwealth has recovered an estimated 83 percent of the jobs it lost during the first two months of the pandemic.
