Cumberland resident Christopher Scott Cook was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and having a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, following a Wednesday incident. Cook told Cumberland City Police officers he had been in an altercation and was threatened with a knife. A further investigation revealed that Cook had actually had the knife. Cook was arrested, received a District Court hearing, and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $7500 bond.
