CITY SEEKS PROPOSALS FOR REUSE OF ALLEGANY HIGH FAÇADE

The city of Cumberland has saved, and placed into storage, the old Allegany High School entryway façade, and is currently seeking Requests for Proposals for its reuse. A memorandum of agreement between the state and the Allegany County Commissioners allowed for the salvage of architectural elements of the old Allegany High School. RFPs are being accepted and will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received. They should be addressed to the Mayor and City Council on Liberty Street; for more information on the façade, or to schedule a visit, contact City Hall at (301)-722-2000.
