As all of Maryland’s COVID metrics rise, the state health department reports more than one-thousand new infections and 15 additional virus-related deaths. Nearly 220 coronavirus patients are hospitalized after 15 people were admitted over the past 24-hours. Seven children are hospitalized with the virus in Maryland, including two in the ICU.
