MARYLAND EXPANDS 211 PROGRAM

Maryland leaders are taking steps to put a stop to hate crimes across the state.  The 211 Maryland program has now been expanded to allow citizens to report hate crimes and widen multilingual access to services and support such as housing and healthcare.  Marylanders are now also able to text ‘MD-Stop-Hate’ to 898-211 to file a report.  Governor Larry Hogan says that 211 Maryland provides support in more than 150-languages.  These services are available 24-7 and more information can be found at 211-md-dot-org.
