FLAGS TO FLY AT HALF-STAFF FOR TEXAS SHOOTING VICTIMS

All U.S. and state flags across West Virginia are flying at half-staff today and will continue to be flown at half-staff through sundown this Saturday, May 28th.  Governor Jim Justice handed down the order yesterday following the shooting deaths of at least 19 children and two adults at an elementary school in Texas.  The dead include the gunman, identified as an 18-year-old local resident.  Police continue to investigate his motive for the shooting.  It’s the worst mass shooting in the United States since the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut left 20 children and six adults dead a decade ago.
