HIKE IN UTILITY BILLS EXPECTED TO BE AS HIGH AS 45%

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is warning residents that many of their utility bills will soon rise. The increase set for June 1st could see price hikes that range from between six and 45 percent, depending on their electric utility.   The commission is urging residents to carefully review their electric bills to understand the rates they will be paying. They also say customers can explore the PUC’s official electric shopping website for details on competitive offers.
