STATE CREATES PROGRAM TO LURE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESSES

Maryland is making strides to attract international businesses to the state.  The Governor announced yesterday a two-million-dollar investment in the Global Gateway Initiative.  Hogan says the program will connect around 50-businesses with local accelerators and incubators that will help ease their transition to the U.S.  The Governor added Maryland is the first state in the nation to help lure international businesses in this way.
