MARYLAND COVID METRICS FALL SLIGHTLY

Maryland’s COVID-19 metrics are slightly lower.  The state health department reports more than 15-hundred new cases, down from over 17-hundred reported Thursday.  Hospitalizations are down to 442 and the state’s positivity rate fell slightly to eight-point-85-percent.  Eleven new virus-related deaths are reported.  On Thursday, the CDC said the number of jurisdictions in Maryland considered at high risk for transmission of COVID is down to two, Baltimore City and Howard County.
