PRICE TAG FOR KEYSER BRIDGE SET AT $25 MILLION

A bridge to provide access to the North End of Keyser could conceivably cost upwards of $25 million, but funding could be available. City Administrator Jeff Broadwater says that he and council member Mike Ryan met with West Virginia Department of Transportation officials to stress the need for better access to the North End of town. There will be a follow up meeting next month. If built, the bridge would allow traffic to move in and out of the North End, even if there are trains on the tracks.
