HOGAN SUSPENDS ENFORCEMENT OF GUN CLAUSE

The battle over the nation’s gun laws goes on following a recent Supreme Court decision.  In Maryland, Governor Larry Hogan is suspending a state law that requires gun owners to prove they have “Good & Substantial Reason” to carry a concealed weapon.  He issued the order following a recent Supreme Court ruling that strikes down a similar law in New York.  Hogan told state police to stop enforcing the measure, saying “it would be unconstitutional” to do so.
