PA. CONGRESSMAN CALLS FOR PENNDOT LEADER TO STEP DOWN

U.S. Congressman Glenn Thompson is reportedly calling for the state secretary of transportation to resign. The Bradford Era dot com says the 15th District lawmaker wants PennDOT leader Yassmin Gramian to step down in light of her agency’s proposed bridge tolling plan being struck down last week. Thompson allegedly said in published reports that PennDOT spent more than 14-million-dollars in taxpayer money to pursue what he calls “a haphazard plan” to toll nine state bridges.
