Cumberland resident Thomas Victor Lancaster IV was charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property, following an investigation from November of last year. The victim went to police headquarters, who reported he had broken into her home; she heard a loud bang, and saw Lancaster standing in her residence, holding a piece of the door jamb. Lancaster was arrested on Tuesday, received a District Court hearing, and was released on personal recognizance.
