BROADBAND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

West Virginia is ready to spend another 20-million dollars on six broadband improvement projects.  Once completed, roughly 11-thousand homes and businesses will have access to a fiber-based Internet connection.  More than 500 miles of fiber will be installed over 11  counties.  So far this year, the Governor’s office has earmarked 16 broadband infrastructure projects with a total price tag of more than 61-million dollars.
