STATE POLICE ISSUE FRIENDLY REMINDER

Maryland State Police are receiving a record number of Maryland Wear-and-Carry Permit applications.  It comes after Governor Larry Hogan directed State Police to suspend the ‘good and substantial reason’ standard for Marylanders to carry a firearm.  Authorities are reminding everyone that even though you submit an application, that alone doesn’t mean you can carry.  Officials say there is a process to getting this done.  More information can be found at the MSP website.
