Two Hagerstown residents have been charged in connection with the death of a five-year-old boy last Friday. The child’s mother, 30-year-old Catherine Thrasher and Timothy Lee Haselden II were taken into custody and both are being held without bond. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at a home on White Pine Drive last Friday, following a report of an unconscious child. He was taken to Meritus Medical Center, and later transferred to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he died. Both were held in the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center without bond.
