PA. ATTORNEY GENERAL REACHES AGREEMENT WITH OPIOID MAKER TEVA

Pennsylvania State Attorney General Josh Shapiro says he’s reached a settlement agreement on key financial terms with opioid manufacturer Teva.  The arrangement is the result of a multistate investigation he led for Teva’s alleged deceptive marketing practices on their opioid drugs.  Actiq and Fentora are used by cancer patients.  The agreement will provide up to four-billion-dollars to states and local governments.
