ROMNEY MAN ARRESTED FOR TERRORISTIC THREATS

Romney resident Michael Edward Herman has been arrested for making terroristic threats on Twitter against elected officials over the abortion issue. Herman was arrested earlier this week, after being stopped on Route 50 in the Augusta area. Herman had tweeted threats to members of the legislature and all law enforcement officers that advocate for an abortion ban. Specific targets of the threats were West Virginia Governor Jim Justice, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris. The U.S. Capitol Police and the West Virginia Fusion Center coordinated with the Romney detachment of the West Virginia State Police, who in turn, called the Romney Police Department. Herman is in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, awaiting arraignment.
