Maryland Delegate Kathy Szeliga wants fellow Republican Delegate Rick Impallaria to step down immediately. Her call comes after he was charged with misconduct in office, theft and embezzlement. Impallaria allegedly used nearly 100-thousand-dollars in state funds to pay for an office that was out of his district and campaign fundraising letters. Szeliga says District 7 deserves an honest representative who is not distracted with pending civil and criminal charges. Impallaria lost his primary bid but remains in office for now.
