TEACHER RECEIVES MAXIMUM SENTENCE

The woman who basically turned her Kanawha County, West Virginia classroom into a torture chamber will be spending several years in prison.  Kanawha County Circuit Judge Maryclaire Akers sentenced Nancy Boggs to ten years.  Boggs had previously pled guilty to ten counts of physically abusing the special needs children in her Holz Elementary classroom.  She resigned from the Charleston school last November after charges were brought against her.
