TWO PA. RESIDENTS SICKENED FROM ROMAINE  LETTUCE AT WENDY’S

Consumer Reports is advising people against eating any Wendy’s sandwich or salad with romaine lettuce.  It says nearly 40 people in the Midwest, including two from Pennsylvania, have been infected with a strain of E.coli linked to Wendy’s sandwiches. Ten people have been hospitalized.  The company says it has removed the romaine lettuce from sandwiches and that the kind used in its salads is different.
