TEXAS MAN SENTENCED FOR THREATENING COVID VACCINE DOC

A Texas man has been sentenced to six-months in federal prison for threatening a Maryland doctor who advocated for the COVID vaccine.  Fifty-two-year-old Scott Harris admitted in a plea agreement that he sent a threatening message on his cell phone to former Baltimore Health Commissioner Dr. Leana Wen.  The message included violent statements, references to a 12-gauge and shooting.  The message also referenced the doctor’s Asian-American race and national origin.
