MARYLAND LAUNCHES MONKEYPOX PRE-REGISTRATION SYSTEM  

The Maryland health department is launching a monkeypox vaccination pre-registration portal.  Marylanders can sign up to be notified when the vaccine becomes available.  To date, Maryland has received more than 15-thousand vials of the vaccine from the federal government.  According to the CDC, Maryland has reported at least 484 monkeypox cases.  There have been nearly 19-thousand cases nationwide.
