Thirty-one-year-old Crystal Nicole Rymer is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center, after allegedly assaulting a man on Monday in the Frederick Street area, near downtown Cumberland. During an argument between the two, she allegedly pulled the knife and threatened to stab the man. He was able to get the knife away from her, but sustained minor injuries. She was charged with first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and possessing a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.
