The majority of striking nurses should be back to work soon after union representatives announced they’d reached an agreement with 13 of 14 Pennsylvania nursing homes. Union officials say workers could be back on the jack as soon as today. Roughly 700 unionized workers at 14 Pennsylvania nursing homes were on strike eight days ago over pay, benefits and staffing levels. Union officials say they’re still negotiating with the single holdout, Shenandoah Heights nursing home in Schuylkill County. As of late last night, no agreement had been reached.
