Bids for the Baltimore Street Access Project will be opened next Wednesday. The project, which will include replacing underground utility lines and reinstalling Baltimore Street, is now tagged at $10 million. Requests for bids, or RFPs, went out August 10th. Once a bid is accepted, it is expected construction will begin later this year or next spring. Matt Miller, executive director of the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation says 18 businesses are currently expressing interest in locating or expanding in Cumberland.
