A former swimmer at the University of Maryland in Baltimore County is suing her alma mater over charges the school failed to protect her against a former coach. The Title Nine lawsuit was filed last week in U-S District Court in Baltimore. It alleges the school demanded she conceal her sexual and emotional abuse when she reported it to Coach Chad Cradock four years ago. Recently, an outside law firm determined Cradock created a hostile environment while he was coach and he engaged in sexual harassment during his tenure. Cradock committed suicide last year.
