Frostburg resident Abigail Dawn Bennett was charged with first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and trespassing on private property in connection with an incident on September 11th. Ms. Bennett came to a residence in the first block of Lee Street and assaulted another woman by grabbing her hair and striking her in the head several times with a closed fist. At the time, officers were unable to locate her. She was arrested and later received a District Court hearing, where she was released on a $2500 unsecured personal bond.
