The Maryland Task Force One urban search and rescue team has been deployed Puerto Rico to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona. The deployment includes rescue crews, hazardous material and medical personnel, engineers and search dogs. Maryland Task Force One is part of FEMA’s Rescue Response System. The team is comprised of firefighters and civilians from Montgomery, Prince George’s, Howard, Frederick and Anne Arundel counties.
