The new 150-bed WVU Children’s Hospital will start seeing young patients later this week. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held over the weekend. The new hospital adds more beds, and it also expands the neonatal intensive care unit to the point there there are now individual rooms, rather than the previous open ward.
