The Allegany County COVID community level has been listed as “low” for last week, with 88 new COVID cases reported, and no additional deaths. The percentage of fully-vaccinated residents of the county now stands at 56.7 per cent. The positivity rate is slightly higher than the state average at 9.75 per cent; Maryland is reporting 9.75. And, the cases per 100,000 individuals is also above that of the state, at 17.85 as opposed to Maryland’s rate of 12.49.
