A new poll released Thursday shows a widening Democratic lead in the race for Pennsylvania’s governor. The results from Franklin & Marshall College show candidate for governor Josh Shapiro leading Republican Doug Mastriano 51 percent to 37 percent. The poll of over 500 registered voters also reveals that Pennsylvanians remain unhappy with the direction of the state and country.
