ARCHDIOCESE LAUNCHES PARISH REVIEW

With church officials witnessing a decrease in attendance at Sunday Masses, the Archdiocese of Baltimore is launching a new two-year review. Called the Seek the City to Come review, the multi-year effort will look at church attendance at some sixty parishes in Baltimore City and just outside the city in Baltimore County. The effort is meant to determine each parish’s strengthens and weaknesses and church officials are encouraging everyone to participate in the study. The Archdiocese says no decision has been made as to what parishes will close at the end of the process.
