The first go around between the West Virginia Public Service Commission and natural gas providers did not go very well, so new revised plans have been submitted. The state’s largest natural gas distribution company, Mountaineer Gas, reduced their price increase, which is estimated to be about 11-dollars less than their original rate increase. Mountaineer Gas is also seeking to extend their deferred payment program and lower income assistance program.
