FALL TROUT STOCKING UNDERWAY

Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commissioners are in the middle of restocking trout in more than a hundred streams and lakes across the state.  Officials say the goal of the effort is to replenish some of the most popular fishing spots across the Commonwealth and provide ice fishing opportunities through the winter.  Overall, the fall stocking involves 116-thousand hatchery-raised trout that are distributed from October through December.
