The Baltimore Teacher of the Year — Berol Dewdney — now has a new title to add to her growing résumé — Maryland Teacher of the Year. Dewdney teaches pre-K at Commodore John Rodgers School in East Baltimore. She was named Baltimore’s teacher of the Year in May. She has been teaching at Commodore John Rodgers School for the last nine years. She’s now in the running for National Teacher of the Year.
