LIQUOR VIOLATIONS JUMPED IN SEPTEMBER

The number of complaints about liquor law violations at restaurants and bars in Pennsylvania that serve alcohol nearly doubled during September 2022. Officials from the State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement say the figures are in comparison to August of this year.  The complaints in Allentown, Lehigh County and Northampton County involved businesses that sold alcohol to under-age buyers, as well as other liquor law violations.  The number of complaints jumped to 117 during September – up from 63 during August. The September report was released October first.
