Pennsylvania Republican candidate for governor Doug Mastriano tells supporters in Allentown that under his administration, Pennsylvania wouldn’t be a sanctuary state. The current state senate leader spoke to about 250 supporters in the Lehigh Valley Saturday. At one point, he said the country is beginning to “look like East Germany,” in a reference to what he called its loss of freedoms. He also said he’d remove illegal immigrants and that he would work toward making the country “energy independent.”
