Laurie Michelle Cavanaugh of Clear Brook, Virginia was charged with possession of drugs-not cannabis-following an Industrial Boulevard traffic stop Sunday evening. A K-9 scan of her vehicle resulted in a positive alert. An officer located a quantity of a controlled dangerous substance, and she was taken into custody. Ms. Cavanaugh was issued a criminal citation and released, pending trial in Allegany County District Court.
