A woman, who had been wanted on a bench warrant from Howard County, was stopped for speeding on Interstate 68 and taken into custody on Monday. Thirty-three-year-old Geneva Rachael Carrington had initially given police a false name and date of birth, but once her true identity was determined, it was discovered she had been wanted on other traffic charges in Howard County. She received an initial appearance in Allegany County District Court, and later remanded to the Detention Center, and held without bond.
