The Maryland State Board of Elections says all 281 ballot drop boxes have been installed and are ready for use in the November election. Voters using mail-in ballots can use the drop boxes or the U.S. Postal Service. The drop boxes will be available until 8 p.m. on November 8th. Residents have until November 1st to request a ballot by mail and the deadline to request an e-mail containing a unique link to a mail-in ballot is November 4th. Maryland residents who are not registered to vote have until October 18th to complete an application. Early in-person voting for the General Election will be held between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. from October 27th through November 3rd.
