From a jail cell to a classroom, former murder convict Adnan Syed is lecturing students at the University of Baltimore. Syed’s attorney, Erica Suter, says he gave a lecture about “grace, courage, generosity and kindness” as part of an Innocence Project clinic. Syed was convicted in 1999 of killing his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee. Prosecutors filed a motion to vacate his murder conviction last month after a year-long investigation revealed two new possible suspects.
