Some Curtis Bay residents are filing a class action lawsuit against CSX. They claim the company has been operating its facility improperly, leading to the coal dust that caused an explosion in December of last year. The explosion did not cause any injuries but there was some property damage and the need for medical monitoring. The plaintiffs are reportedly seeking five-million dollars in damages. CSX says it is reviewing the claims and it remains committed to the safety and health of employees and neighboring communities.
