WVU Medicine is making plans to build a regional cancer center in downtown Wheeling. The former Ohio Valley Medical Center will be transformed through the partnership with the West Virginia Cancer Institute. The city of Wheeling currently owns he property, which demolished and the new cancer center built. If will take five years before it will be ready for the first patient.
