LEGISLATION WOULD CAP SOARING INSULIN PRICES

A Pennsylvania state representative from Lehigh has co-sponsored a bill that would cap out-of-pocket insulin prices at 35-dollars a month.  Democratic Representative Jeanne McNeill and fellow lawmaker Mike Zabel have introduced House Bill 2878, a new version of H.B. 460, which had capped prices at 100-dollars a month.  McNeill says insulin caps are a bipartisan issue.  Twenty-one other states have passed similar insulin copays.
