Thirty-six-year-old Cumberland resident Tina Marie Agnes Werner was arrested for attempted murder and related charges, following an incident on Memorial Avenue early yesterday morning. Police received a call for a domestic disturbance; police found Ms. Werner reportedly lying on top of a child in a bathtub that was filling with water. She also allegedly assaulted an officer and also resisted arrest. She and the child were taken for treatment at a local medical facility. She was charged, received a District Court hearing, and was held without bond.
