KEYSER MAN CHARGED WITH SECOND-DEGREE ASSAULT

Keyser, West Virginia resident Jared Nathaniel Citarelli was charged with second-degree assault, after police responded to a residence in the 800-block of Mechanic Street. The victim had engaged in a verbal altercation with Citarelli, when he struck the victim in the face with a closed fist, causing visible injuries. He left the residence but was located a short time later. He received a District Court hearing and was released on a $2500 unsecured bond.
