COUNTY REMAINS IN “LOW” COVID CATEGORY

Allegany County remains in the “low” community level category for COVID cases. Approximately, 57.1 per cent of county residents are fully vaccinated. There have been 79 new cases, and no additional deaths. The positivity rate is slightly higher than the state average at 8.72 per cent; the state is reporting 7.41 per cent. Free drive-in clinics are still being held at the Fairgrounds, along with COVID vaccination clinics every Wednesday at the Allegany County Health Department.
