Sentencing was continued for a convicted child rapist was continued Friday in Bedford County court. Stephen Beegle was to be sentenced for sexually abusing and later threatening to kill two children in 2019. The continuance was granted when an expert witness for the defense didn’t show up in court. That witness will be required to explain their absence on Friday.
